How to delete your account
You can delete your CornerTalk account at any time from within the app.
- Open the CornerTalk app
- Tap Profile in the bottom navigation bar
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account
- Confirm when prompted
Your account will be deleted immediately.
What happens to your data
Permanently deleted
Your email address, nickname, suburb and city are permanently removed from our systems the moment you confirm deletion.
Anonymised and retained
Your participation in past meetings is retained in anonymised form — your identity is removed but the meeting record remains intact for other participants. This record is displayed as "Deleted User" and cannot be linked back to you.
Safety records (suspended accounts only)
If your account was suspended for a terms of use violation, a minimal safety record is retained linked to your Google authentication identifier — a technical ID, not personal data. This prevents banned users from rejoining under a new account. No personal information is held for this purpose.
